Criteria

1.    Your trip will begin and end in Westville.  It will last 10 days, this includes driving days as well.
2.    You must stop at 3 cities or towns along the way before arriving at Cadillac Mountain, Maine.
3.    Each group will receive $4,500 to spend.  Spend your money wisely.  You must return to Westville, New Jersey.
4.    You must drive.  Your average speed limit is 60 mph. This will help you figure out how long it will take you to reach your destinations. Don't forget to stop for gas. Your car gets 20 miles per gallon and has a 15 gallon tank.  Each gallon of gas costs $2.00.
5.    As a group you must determine the route you will travel as well as choose the attractions you visit at each city or town along the way.  You must also select an attraction to visit while in Maine.
6.    Once your trip is planned each member of the group will be responsible for a portion of the trip.  The group member will complete the individual travel log for their portion of the trip.  
7.    You must spend every night in a motel. We don't want you falling asleep at the wheel!  It will cost each person $30.00 a night for lodging, no matter where you stay.
8.    You must buy breakfast ($4.00), lunch ($6.00), and
dinner ($9.00) each day for each person.
9.    Each group member will create a post card for the attraction they are responsible for.  The front of the card will be a downloaded graphic from the Internet showing the attraction.  The back of the postcard will be a brief summary of your trip.  You will use the postcard summary template.
10. Each group will be responsible for completing a Trip Summary.
11.  Your group will turn in a final project packet which will
       include:  Individual travel logs in chronological order
                     Postcards for each sight visited
                     1 Trip Summary Sheet
12. Your group will make an oral presentation about trip.
