4: Reflection
This activity enhanced our Everyday Math program, giving the students another venue to practice previously learned skills and review concepts that will be covered in the future. Students enjoyed a hands on technology presentation and lesson versus paper and pencil. The student input was extremely positive. The students, including our special needs students, were actively involved the entire 75 minutes. This was evident not only in their comments but in observing that they all stayed on task the entire time. They were very enthusiastic about using this program in the future and that they can access the program from home. We also had several teachers from National Park school observe the lesson. After seeing the students involvement, they indicated that they would get started utilizing the program and technology immediately. We all agreed that this was an excellent way to work on math concepts in a fun, involved way.
